כִּי גֵר אָנֹכִי עִמָּךְ; תּוֹשָׁב, כְּכָל-אֲבוֹתָי. (תהילים לט:יג)
I am a stranger with you, a resident, like all my fathers. (Psalms 39:13)

If you play with where to put the pauses, this verse can be read in lots of different ways. I constantly find myself feeling like an outcast when surrounding by other people. If they knew what I really thought, would they accept me? Do I just look normal enough that I'm accepted by society? If they really knew what was in my heart, I'd be totally alone. But with God, I can say everything, share everything, and always feel safe.
