consider the source: psalm 22
Consider the source,
My father used to say.
Let the words penetrate you,
From the people who brighten your day.
This is why those closest to us,
Can cut us so deep.
Those pairs that go together,
The lifelong partners we keep.
The bee and the flower,
The stars and the moon.
The breeze and the clouds,
Israel's praises and God's throne.
So when all your left with is leaf and bark,
Remember that death and decay,
Nourish the soul for a brighter day.
