too young in my life: psalm 28

Too young in my life,
I was tossed into the open ocean of unanswered questions.

There are many metaphors,
But today, feeling my grandchild kick inside my daughter's belly,
I meditate on just one.

The rivers and streams of my youth guided me,
My entire life,
To the gentle clarity of age,
To see another generation make the voyage.
